Placement Consultation: If you have a collection of art and need guidance on how to display it effectively, my placement consultation service is tailored for you. "We recently down sized to a two bedroom apartment in an assisted living building. We had way to many paintings and photos for very limited wall space.
The decision was made to consult with Lilly May; our resident art class teacher and in house art curator. This turned out to be an unbelievaby enjoyable experience with the most rewarding results. Lilly helped us choose our favourite paintings and photos and asked after each piece's provenance. She then took them all of site to reframe them. The frames she chose brought out the accent colours of each individual painting and then she matched different textures of frames and colours of the ten chosen paintings to form a new and unique collage to display our most valued pieces of art. We settled on the largest wall in the biggest room of our flat - that is the open living space with our kitchen, dining, lounge and study - for her to install her art on. Now we have all our precious memories in full view of our most used room and we are enjoying them more than we have ever done before. She chose to hang a collection of photos of our son's wedding on a wall in our passage where we have a seat in our entrance to sit and remove our shoes whilst looking at a very special occasion. The other seperate chemigram depiction of the David was treated in the same frame as the family photos to match the architraves of the doors and is in the same passage.
